Maharashtra Elections: BJP Spokesperson Shaina NC and Danve's Daughter Featured in Shiv Sena's Third Candidate List

The Shiv Sena, led by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, unveiled its third list of candidates for the Maharashtra assembly elections on November 20. This list includes 15 names, featuring BJP spokesperson Shaina NC and Sanjana Jadhav, daughter of BJP leader Raosaheb Danve. Shaina NC will compete for the Mumbadevi seat in Mumbai against Congress MLA Amin Patel.

Sanjana Jadhav is set to contest from Kannad in Aurangabad district, now known as Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district. The current representative of this seat is Udaysing Rajput from the Shiv Sena UBT, led by former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. The announcement came just before the nomination deadline.

Regional Allies and Candidate Details

Two seats from the list were allocated to regional allies within the BJP-led NDA. Jansurajya Paksh nominated Ashokrao Mane for Hatkanangale, while Rajarshi Shahu Vikas Aghadi selected Rajendra Patil Yedrawkar for Shirol. Both constituencies are located in Kolhapur district.

The Shiv Sena is part of the Mahayuti grand alliance, which includes the BJP and NCP under Deputy CM Ajit Pawar. This coalition aims to strengthen its position in the upcoming elections. The release of this candidate list marks a strategic move ahead of the polls.
