Maharashtra assembly elections 2024: Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi Announces 10 Candidates, All Muslims
Prakash Ambedkar, the leader of Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi (VBA), shared a second list of candidates for the Maharashtra Assembly Elections. This list, announced on October 9, includes ten Muslim candidates. The elections are expected to take place later this year.
Earlier, on September 21, VBA had disclosed its first set of 11 candidates. Among these was Shamibha Patil, a transgender individual from the Leva Patil community. Patil is set to contest from the Raver assembly seat in Jalgaon district, located in north Maharashtra.
