Madras High Court Clears BJP's Roadshow For PM Modi In Coimbatore, BJP President Thanks Court
The Madras High Court granted permission to the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) to conduct a four-kilometer roadshow for Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, on March 18. Justice N Anand Venkatesh directed the Coimbatore Police to make necessary arrangements for the event following a petition by Ramesh Kumar challenging the earlier denial of permission.

In response to the court's decision, BJP state president K Annamalai expressed gratitude and stated, "We thank the Honourable Madras High Court for hearing our plea challenging the DMK Govt's move to deny permission for the Road Show of our Hon PM Thiru @narendramodi avl in Coimbatore on the 18th March 2024." He also criticized the DMK government, calling the court's verdict a rebuke to their authoritarianism.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Modi conducted a roadshow in Hyderabad, where he waved to supporters while standing in an open-top vehicle alongside Union Minister G Kishan Reddy and BJP candidate Eatala Rajender from Malkajgiri. Modi is scheduled to address BJP rallies in Telangana on March 16 and March 18.
