MP CM Yadav Bans Meat Sales In Open, Loudspeakers In Religious Places
To battle noise pollution in Madhya Pradesh, newly elected Chief Minister Mohan Yadav began the action soon after assuming office. In the first state cabinet meeting, the CM ordered to ban playing loudspeakers near religious and public places. The order from the chief minister's office said "Use of loudspeakers and other sound amplifying devices at loud volumes without permission is completely prohibited."
The state government issued an order following provisions of the Noise Control Act, Noise Pollution (Regulation and Control) Rules, 2000, and the guidelines issued by the Supreme Court.

To keep the check, the CM office has also ordered formation of special flying squads that will aware people of the noise pollution and illegal use of loudspeakers. These squads will also have the power to impose fines on the people who will not follow the guidelines.
The chief Minister also ordered to ban meat shops without licenses and selling the meat in the open.
After passing the orders Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said, "Today we have taken several discussions during the first Cabinet meeting. We have raised the issue of meat sales in the open and have proposed to bring rules for this, in the Cabinet meeting today," MP CM Yadav.
