LPG price hiked by Rs 2 per cylinder
Amid the continuous increase in gasoline a diesel prices, subsidised cooking gas (LPG) price was on Tuesday hiked by over Rs 2 per cylinder.
With effect from June 1st, the revised Price of subsidised LPG cylinder in Delhi - Rs 493.55, Kolkata- Rs 496.65, Mumbai - Rs 491.31 and Chennai - Rs 481.84, to be effective from today.

Meanwhile, Liquefied Petroleum Gas Marketers' Association (LPGMA) party-list Representative Arnel Ty said on Friday that the LPG price hike was temporary and will likely decrease after the period of seasonal increases pass.
The government had in September restricted the supply of subsidised domestic LPG cylinders to six per household in a year.
Any requirement above this will have to be bought at market rate, which is more than double the subsidised price of Rs 410.42 per cylinder in Delhi.
