Lok Sabha Pre-Poll Survey: INDIA Bloc Edges Ahead In Maharashtra, Predicts Opinion Poll
The India Today Mood of the Nation (MOTN) poll has thrown down a challenge for the BJP and its allies in Maharashtra, predicting a potential shift in power.
According to the India Today Mood of the Nation (MOTN) poll, the Opposition INDIA bloc will likely secure an advantage in Maharashtra by winning 26 out of the total 48 Lok Sabha seats.

On the other hand, the BJP and its NDA allies are projected to secure 22 seats in the state, as indicated by the per- poll survey results.
The Mood of the Nation survey suggests that the Congress is expected to win 12 seats in Maharashtra, while its allies, including the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena (UBT) and the Sharad Pawar-led Nationalist Congress Party-Sharadchandra Pawar, are likely to secure a combined total of 14 seats.
Additionally, the poll predicts a 45% vote share for the INDIA bloc and a 40% vote share for the NDA.
In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the NDA emerged victorious in 41 out of 48 seats in Maharashtra, with the BJP alone securing 22 seats. At that time, the Shiv Sena, then an ally of the BJP, won 19 seats. The undivided Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) secured four seats, while the Congress managed to secure only one seat.
