Lok Sabha Pre Poll Survey: How Many Seats Will BJP Win In Karnataka? Find Out In This Opinion Poll
The Karnataka BJP is gearing up for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. There is speculation about how many seats the party can win in the state, which is currently ruled by the Congress. A survey by the Janmat poll pre-election survey released, which has boosted the BJP's electoral enthusiasm.
The Congress, which won 135 seats in the 2023 Karnataka assembly elections, is aiming to win more seats in the Lok Sabha elections 2024. The BJP-JD(S) alliance is also expected to help the saffron party.

How many seats will the BJP win?
Karnataka has 28 Lok Sabha constituencies. The 2024 Lok Sabha elections in Karnataka have raised curiosity. The reason for this is that the Congress is in power in the state and has formed an alliance with the JD(S).
According to the Janmat pre-election survey, the BJP, the main opposition party in Karnataka, is expected to win 18-20 seats. The survey predicts that this will make the party with the most seats in the state.
On the other hand, the Congress is expected to win 7-9 seats. The JD(S), which is in alliance with the BJP, has been included with the BJP. The survey has not separately stated how many seats the JD(S) is expected to win.
In 2019, the Congress won only one seat (Bengaluru Rural) in Karnataka. The JD(S) won one seat (Hassan). The Congress-JD(S) alliance had faced the last election. This time, the BJP-JD(S) alliance has been formed.
In comparision to the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP has fewer seats this time. In the last election, the BJP won 25 seats in the state. In addition, BJP-supported independent candidate Sumalata Ambareesh who won from Mandya district.
In the 2023 Karnataka assembly elections, the BJP lost power after winning 66 seats. After the election, the BJP changed its state president. Former Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa's son, Shikaripura MLA B.Y. Vijayendra, was appointed as BJP president.
Vijayendra expressed confidence that the BJP will win 20+ seats in the Lok Sabha elections. It is expected that the party will win more seats as it will also have the support of the JD(S).
According to a Lok Poll pre-election survey conducted in Karnataka, the Congress is expected to win 12-14 seats, the BJP 10-12 seats, and the JD(S) 1-2 seats. Congress high command leaders have set a target of winning more than 20 seats in the state as the Congress is in power in the state.
Even though the BJP-JD(S) alliance has been formed, it is still not final how many seats will be allocated to the JD(S). There is information that the Mandya and Hassan constituencies will be given up. Mandya MP Sumanlata has already announced her support to the BJP. So, it is interesting who will get the Mandya constituency.
