Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Pappu Yadav Likely To Join INDIA Bloc, Meets Lalu Yadav In Patna
Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Former Member of Parliament and Jan Adhikar Party (Loktantrik) party chief Pappu Yadav is likely to join the INDIA bloc ahead of the much anticipated Lok Sabha elections 2024. Pappu Yadav met Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Yadav and former Bihar Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav in Patna and is likely to contest the upcoming election on RJD's ticket from the Madhepura constituency.
Pappu Yadav had won the election from Madhepura in 2014 and is eyeing to win the seat again.

According to the reports, Pappu Yadav's Jan Adhikar Party (Loktantrik) may also merge into RJD.
Meanwhile, speculations suggested that RJD may also field Lalu Yadav's daughter Rohini Acharya from the Saran constituency this time. RJD MLC Sunil Kumar dropped a hint saying "The party leadership has been informed about the overwhelming public sentiment in Saran, and the party is thinking of fielding a candidate from the Yadav family".
He added that this is not his view, in fact a collective demand from the party leaders and voters of the area that Rohini should be made RJD candidate.
"Party workers have conveyed their feelings to the national president and Tejashwi Yadav. They have to take a decision on this," RJD Leader said.
For the unversed, Rohini Acharya came to the spotlight for launching a scathing attack and targeting Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar after he switched sides and joined the BJP to form a new government, a few months ago.
