Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Mohan Bhagwant, P. Chidambaram, Edappadi K Palaniswami Starts The Day By Voting

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, Congress leader P. Chidambaram, former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami, and BJP's South Chennai candidate Tamilisai Soundarajan all cast their votes early in the morning.

Mohan Bhagwat proudly displayed his inked finger after voting in Nagpur, Maharashtra. P. Chidambaram was the first to cast his vote at a polling booth in Sivaganga, Tamil Nadu.

Edappadi K Palaniswami exercised his voting right at the designated polling station in Salem Chiluwampalayam representing AIADMK. Meanwhile, BJP's candidate Tamilisai Soundarajan arrived at a polling booth in Saligramam to cast her vote.

After casting a vote, Soundararajan, says, "I appeal to all brothers, sisters, and elders to please come and vote. Don't give away your democratic right. Take a selfie and motivate others..."

The 2024 general elections will be concluding on June 1st. The tallying of ballots and announcement of outcomes for the Lok Sabha poll will happen on June 4th.

Balloting will occur in the subsequent regions during the first phase: Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and West Bengal.

Voting will also take place in the subsequent Union Territories today: Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Jammu and Kashmir, and Puducherry.
