Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Know How Many Seats BJP Will Win In Himachal Pradesh This Time

The battle of Lok Sabha elections in Himachal Pradesh, a state that has a record of changing government every five years in assembly elections, is going to be interesting. It would be interesting to see whether the state will continue to power the saffron front, a home state to BJP chief JP Nadda, or people will elect the Congress just like they trusted and voted for the grand old party during the Vidhan Sabha elections.

According to the India Today Mood of the Nation opinion poll held between December 15, 2023, to January 28, 2024, it has noted that the BJP-led NDA is poised to repeat its success in Himachal Pradesh, securing all four seats in the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha election.

The opinion poll data based on responses collected from 35,801 respondents, BJP is projected to garner 60 percent of the vote share. The number is nine percent less than the 69 percent votes that were obtained by the Narendra Modi government in 2019.

The hilly state indicates a positive response for the INDIA bloc and is expected to secure 29 percent of the vote share, which is 2 percent higher than 2019.

In 2019, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) made a clean sweep in Himachal Pradesh, with its candidates winning all four Lok Sabha seats-Shimla, Kangra, Mandi, and Hamirpur-in the hill state with record margins.
