Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Congress To Promise "Right To Employment" In Manifesto
Lok Sabha elections 2024 are around the corner and every political party is leaving no stone unturned to woo the voters.
According to the reports, Congress is likely to promise the "right to employment" in its manifesto for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2024. The reports said that the grand old party is going to promise amendments and implementation of stringent laws for punishment to those responsible for paper leaks in public examinations.

The reports added that Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi are likely to make the big announcement during the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra at Badanawar in Madhya Pradesh.
The agendas and promises have almost been finalized and will be added to the manifesto once they are approved by the Congress Working Committee (CWC).
"This is the first time ever that such a scheme to give 'right to employment' will be given to the youth of the country and some allowance may also be offered to the youth," a Congress leader reported on the condition of anonymity. He added that even developed countries do not offer such schemes for youth.
Congress' manifesto is likely to focus on 5-nyay (five pillars of justice): Yuva NYAY, Bhagidari NYAY, Nari NYAY, Kisan NYAY, and Shram NYAY as promised by Congress MP Rahul Gandhi.
The Opposition would also focus on giving a legal guarantee to farmers on minimum support price (MSP) and will conduct a caste-based census that will help in the upliftment of the backward.
