Lok Sabha Elections 2024: BJP And Jana Sena Secure Seat-Sharing Deal With TDP, Says Sources
According to sources, a seat-sharing formula has been agreed upon by Chandrababu Naidu's Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and Pawan Kalyan's Jana Sena, as reported by India Today TV.
The negotiations between the two parties, conducted ahead of the Lok Sabha and Andhra Pradesh assembly polls, resulted in the finalization of the deal around midnight on Friday.

As per the agreement, it is understood that the Jana Sena and BJP will receive approximately eight seats out of the total 24 Lok Sabha seats. Similarly, for the Andhra Pradesh assembly, it is anticipated that the two parties will be allocated between 28 and 32 seats.
The remaining assembly seats are expected to be allotted to the TDP. In Vijayawada, TDP senior leader Kinjarapu Atchannaidu informed reporters that Chandrababu Naidu had been invited to Delhi by BJP leaders. Atchannaidu stated that preliminary discussions had concluded and revealed that the TDP, BJP, and Jana Sena had decided to contest the elections together.
He also mentioned that further discussions would be held to determine the allocation of seats, as reported by India Today. K Ravindra Kumar, senior TDP leader and Rajya Sabha MP, confirmed that the BJP, Jana Sena, and TDP had, in principle, agreed to collaborate for the upcoming polls, with the specifics currently being worked out.
A day after N Chandrababu Naidu's meetings with Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP chief JP Nadda, Kumar stated that preliminary discussions had occurred regarding an alliance for both the Lok Sabha and state Assembly polls, which are concurrently held in Andhra Pradesh. During these deliberations, which lasted over an hour and a half at Shah's residence, Jana Sena president and actor Pawan Kalyan also participated.
