Uttar Pradesh Police safely brought mafia-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed's convoy to Prayagraj from Sabarmati Central Jail. Ahmed will be kept in isolation in a high-security barrack at Naini Central Jail. He will be produced before Prayagraj's special court at 11 am on March 28 in a kidnapping case in which he is an accused.
Meanwhile, Atiq Ahmed has alleged a plot to murder him under the garb of taking him to a special court.

Apolice vehicle carrying gangster Atiq Ahmed hit a cow in Shivpuri district of Madhya Pradesh on Monday morning before the convoy entered Jhansi on its way to Prayagraj. A video of the incident which occurred at around 6:25 AM shows a cow darting towards the road when it was hit by the vehicle carrying Ahmed. The cow fell near the road divider. After the incident, the vehicle stopped for a while before resuming the onward journey.
