Like Sidhu Moose Wala, Punjabi Music Composer Bunty Bains Attacked In Mohali, Details Inside

Just like the late Punjabi pop singer Sidhu Moose Wala, music composer and lyricist Bunty Bains was attacked on Tuesday in Mohali, Punjab. According to the reports, Bunty Bains managed to escape the assassination attempt closely. The incident happened when Bains was with his colleagues at a restaurant, Katyani, in Mohali's sector 79. The reports added that the assailant tried to shoot Bains from outside the restaurant but failed. A video that is doing round the internet, shows bullet brushes on a wooden window and a broken glass.

Bunty Bains has accompanied Sidhu Moose Wala on many projects.

After being informed, police reached the spot swiftly and took cognizance of the incident. Reports said, a complaint has been lodged and the probe is underway now.

He was lucky enough to escape the attack, which Sidhu Moose Wala could not.

Talking to the media, Bunty Bains shared the horrific experience and revealed that after the attack, he received a threat call and goons demanded extortion of Rs 1 crore.

He added that the alleged attack was made by Lucky Patial's gang, which is being operated from Canada.

Earlier, in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case, gangster Lawrence Bishnoi took responsibility of the attack.

As per NIA statements shared with media, gangster Lawrence Bishnoi asserted that his gang opted for retaliation after the Davinder Bambiha gang's killing of Gurlal Brar, who was Goldy Brar's cousin, in October 2020. Bishnoi stated that Gurlal Brar was targeted due to his proximity to him.

Bishnoi elaborated, "In September/October 2021, I dispatched three shooters - Shahrukh, Danny, and Aman - with the aim of targeting Sidhu Moosewala. They stayed in a village neighboring Moosewala's for a week, their accommodation arranged by Mona Sarpanch and Jaggu Bhagawanpuria, both members of my gang."
