Lawrence Bishnoi Gang Sends Death Threat To Singer B Praak, Demands Rs 10 Crore Within One Week

Popular Punjabi and Bollywood singer B Praak has allegedly received a serious extortion threat of Rs 10 crore, linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

The threat was not sent directly to B Praak but was delivered through fellow Punjabi singer Dilnoor Bablu, who later approached the police in Mohali.

According to the complaint, the caller warned of severe consequences if the money was not paid within a week. The matter has raised concern due to the gang's recent involvement in violent incidents across Delhi.

How the Threat Was Delivered

As per Dilnoor's statement to the police, he first received two missed calls from an unknown international number on January 5.

He did not answer them. The following day, January 6, he received another call from the same number in the afternoon. Sensing something unusual, he disconnected the call.
Soon after, Dilnoor received a voice message containing threats. In his complaint, he quoted the caller as saying:

"Apne dost B Praak ko bol dena ki 10 crore rupaye de de. Tumhare paas sirf ek hafte ka time hai."

The message further warned that escape would not help:

"Chahe kisi bhi country mein chala jaye, agar hamare saath nahi chala to mitti mein mila denge."

The caller also threatened harm to people associated with the singer, saying:

"Saath walon ko bhi kaafi nuksaan hoga."

Complaint Filed, Police Begin Probe

Disturbed by the message, Dilnoor filed a written complaint with the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Mohali, on the same day. In the letter, he clearly stated that both he and B Praak were facing a threat to their lives and property.

He told the police:

"Mujhe aur mere dost B Praak ko jaan aur maal ka khatra bana hua hai."

Dilnoor also mentioned that due to fear, he was unable to step out of his house and requested police protection. He submitted screenshots and the voice recording as evidence.

Threat Follows Gang's Violent Pattern

Police sources say the threat matches the recent pattern linked to the Bishnoi gang. Over the past few weeks, several businessmen in Delhi reportedly received threat calls, followed by firing incidents outside their homes and workplaces.

These incidents involved similar demands for money and warnings of violence. In some cases, Delhi Police later arrested suspects after encounters. Investigators believe the gang is targeting high-profile individuals to create fear and pressure.

Security Concerns Rise for Artists

B Praak is a well-known name in the music industry, with frequent travel for shows and recordings. The threat has once again highlighted the growing security concerns faced by artists and public figures.

Police officials have confirmed that the complaint is being treated seriously and investigations are ongoing to trace the source of the calls and verify links to the Bishnoi gang.
