Lalu slams Modi for kabristan and shamshaan remark, says PM dividing UP for votes
Congress had on Monday decided to approach the Election Commission over Modi's remarks at a rally in Fatehpur.
Launching a blistering attack on Narendra Modi over his kabristan (graveyard) and shamshaan (cremation ground) remark in a poll rally, RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav on Tuesday said the prime minister was trying to communalise the poll bound Uttar Pradesh.

Speaking to ANI, Lalu said Modi has been attempting to divide the scociety on the lines of caste and religion eversince elections were announced in the state.
Congress had on Monday decided to approach the Election Commission over Modi's remarks at a rally in Fatehpur, but the meeting was cancelled due to some difficulties.
"If you create a kabristan in a village, then a shamshaan must be created. If you give electricity uninterrupted during Ramzan, then it should be given for Diwali too without a break. There should be no discrimination," Modi had said in Fatehpur.
Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mayawati earlier slammed the PM for his remarks.
Reacting to Modi's statement, Mayawati said, "The Bharatiya Janata Party should first build cemetery for Hindus in villages located in all the states ruled by the party. Then they should come and talk in UP."
