Kolkata triple murder: Mother, twin sons found dead with their throats slit
Kolkata, Jan 17: Bodies of a 42-year-old woman and her two teenage twin sons were on Saturday, Jan 16, found by Kolkata Police (KP) at the third floor of Palm Avenue, while her husband was found in critical condition.
A KP officer said the blood-soaked bodies of Jessica Fonseca and her twin sons— Darren and Joshua- with their throats slit and injuries on their heads were found on a bed in the flat, while her husband Neil was found in a critical condition.

The house is near the residence of former Chief Minister, Buddhedeb Bhattacharjee. The officer said Neil's condition is critical but he has given a written version at the hospital of what transpired as he is unable to speak.
"As per his version the incident took place at around 4.30 AM today when he woke up," he said.
Neil, an interior decorator by profession, had written that he had an affair three weeks ago and was checking his mobile phone when Jessica woke up and finding him busy with his phone accused him of having an extra-marital affair.
She then attacked him with a knife and stabbed the twins and Neil hit her back with a dumbell and then slit her throat with a kitchen knife, he wrote. He then slit his wrist to take his own life, the officer quoted from Neil's writing.
"We have recovered three blood-stained kitchen knives and one dumbell weighing 25 pounds," the officer said.
Surprisingly, there were four other persons, including Neil's 85-year-old mother and teenage daughter, present in the adjoining rooms but they said they did not hear anything.
The family had gone to a restaurant last evening and on return some arguments were heard from inside, he said.
The police went to spot after the local police station received a phone call that the family was not responding to calls and recovered the bodies. He said preliminary findings indicate the attacks could have taken place due to family disputes.
Senior Kolkata Police officers inspected the site, along with homicide squad personnel. Sniffer dogs were also taken.
