'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan' review: Find out what's good, what's bad

Salman Khan's much-hyped 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan' has hit the screens on Friday to coincide with Eid celebration. It is a remake of Hit Tamil movie 'Veeram'.

The movie is directed by Farhad Samji who had earlier directed movies such as 'Bachchhan Paandey', and 'Housefull 4'.

The Hindi flick has Pooja Hegde, Jagapathi Babu, Siddharth Nigam, Bhumika Chawla, Venkatesh, Abhimanyu Singh and many others.

Story:

The movie tells the story of Bhaijaan, who wants to remain single to take care of his three brothers, falls in a love with a girl from Telugu family. However, this relationship brings a new challenge for him. What follows next forms the interesting part of the story.

Review:

The movie has wafer-thin story. The first half fails to hold the attention of the viewers, but the drama opens up in the second half. The logic goes for toss.

However, Salman Khan is the saving grace. Action sequences have been well-choreographed and Jagapathi Babu shines as a villain. Overall, it is a below-average entertainer.

IAS Karthik Agarwal: tbh i wasnt expecting much from the film but this turned out to be good, except some cringe dialogue and few forced comedy scene it has some good elements. Interesting to see good fight sequence specially the metro fight scene was damn good, unpopular opinion i think Farhad samjhi should try his hand on action-drama and leave comedy aside for few while. all said and done I think kisi ka bhai kisi ki jaan should be given a chance its a fun family flick nice enjoyable ✨

Ritambhar Banerjee: Movie is wonderful. Acting performance, dialogue delivery, screen play, songs too is mind blowing . Specially all the credit goes to Salman khan only because this movie is only one man show, but brilliant. Drawback is choreography in one particular song seems to be like work out. Oher actors Pooja Hegde, Venkatesh, Siddharth Nigam performed well. Story is decent. A one time watch only.

Anusha Srivastava: A lot of movies are better than this. It felt as if South audience ke liye they have included their side. If not Salman , nobody would have come to watch the movie. And some people who are comparing it to Chennai Express..It was far better than Kisi ka Bhai kisi ki jaan. Overall if are a Salman fan, you can watch it but nothing new or mind-blowing. As a fan I would say he needs to stop copying South Indian and South Korean movies and concepts and up his game.

S Kumar: Good fun for Salman Khan fans. Salman has lost his charm though. Also bordering cringe to see him like this.

Movie is decent one time watch otherwise. It's supposed to be the mindless Bollywood genre and only reason to watch this movie in theatre is to keep the nonsense over the top movie culture experience alive.
