Kiren Rijiju and Hema Malini Participate in Maha Kumbh 2023 Celebrations at Prayagraj

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju participated in the ongoing Maha Kumbh by taking a dip in the Sangam. He expressed his experience on X, stating that bathing in the Triveni Sangam at Prayagraj during this sacred festival is spiritually and mentally awakening. Rijiju described the continuous flow of Maa Ganga as a symbol of India's sacred spirit, highlighting the event's grandeur and energy.

Rijiju encouraged everyone to join this significant event, emphasising its success. Meanwhile, BJP MP Hema Malini also attended the Maha Kumbh. She arrived on Monday evening and engaged in a spiritual meeting with Junapeethadhishwar Mahamandaleshwar Acharya Swami Avdheshanand Giri Ji Maharaj, known as Pujya Prabhushri Ji, at the Prabhu Premi Sangh Kumbh Camp.

Spiritual Gatherings at Maha Kumbh

The Uttar Pradesh government released a statement mentioning Malini's meeting with the seer and shared photographs of their interaction. The Maha Kumbh has attracted numerous visitors, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who visited with his family. Shah also met Avdheshanand Giriji Maharaj and other seers during his visit.

On Monday alone, 1.55 crore people took a holy bath at the Maha Kumbh. The total number of pilgrims who have participated so far exceeds 14.76 crore, according to government data. This massive turnout underscores the event's significance in Indian culture and spirituality.
