Khyati Hospital has been accused of exploiting government healthcare schemes, such as the PM-JAY, under the guise of "free medical camps." These camps, primarily held in the villages of North Gujarat, allegedly had a hidden agenda-each camp was expected to bring in 20% of the patients to Khyati Hospital for further treatment.

The hospital faces serious allegations of performing unnecessary angioplasties on patients who didn't have any underlying health conditions. Investigations by qualified doctors have confirmed that patients who underwent angiography and angioplasty had no medical need for the procedures.

The Mehsana district health officer stated that Khyati Hospital had allegedly lured patients from several villages in Kadi taluka under the false pretext of free medical services.

In response, Gujarat's Health Minister, Rishikesh Patel, has ordered that strict action be taken against those responsible for the malpractice, including the hospital's owners, management, and doctors.

On November 12, Dhananjay Dwivedi, Principal Secretary of the Health Department, announced the formation of a committee to investigate the issue. After visiting Khyati Hospital, the committee submitted its findings, which highlighted several deficiencies in the hospital's practices. According to the report, 19 patients were brought to an Ahmedabad hospital after a health camp was conducted in Balisna village, Kadi taluka, by Khyati Hospital's team. Of these, 19 patients underwent angiography, and 7 had angioplasty. Tragically, 2 of these 7 patients passed away following the procedure.
