Khattar Govt approves Rs 882.85 crore for 11,259 economically weaker section flats

Chandigarh, Apr 11: Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Saturday approved the construction of 11,259 flats for people belonging to Economically Weaker Section (EWS) at a cost of Rs 882.85 crore.

The CM has also approved Rs 171.65 crore for construction and development of community centres in the places where these flats are to be built for the convenience of residents, an official spokesperson said here.

These flats would be constructed at various places including Jagadhari, Karnal and Safidon with majority to be built in Hisar and Fatehabad districts, he said.
