'Kesariya' song sung in 5 languages: PM Modi lauds the viral song
Great manifestation of the spirit of ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, PM Modi said, while hailing the singer named Snehdeep Singh Kalsi.
How often do you receive a compliment from Prime Minister Narendra Modi? Well, a singer's song of a Hindi track has garnered the attention of the PM.
The Prime Minister took to Twitter to hail the song. It is 'Kesariya' song from Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's 'Brahmastra: Part 1' and sung by a man called Snehdeep Singh Kalsi.

The reason why the PM mentioned about the song is Snehdeep Singh Kalsi has beautifully sung the song in five languages - Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu and Hindi.
The Prime Minister tweeted, "Came across this amazing rendition by the talented @SnehdeepSK. In addition to the melody, it is a great manifestation of the spirit of 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.' Superb!"
The song was first shared by Kalsi on his Instagram in July 2022, but it took over eight months to get appreciation from the Prime Minister.
The singer, in July 2022, has shared the song on his social media account and wrote, "Kesariya - ended up covering it in all 5 languages. Wanted to cover it ever since the teaser dropped. Started listening to the versions in different languages and couldn't help but try all of them.
This one is specially for all my friends and ex colleagues from Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad who have been asking for a regional song's cover since ages. For now I have tried my best to attempt this. Hope you all love it. 🤗
Let me know how you feel about it.
@rohitkantheti and @shwaruu thanks for helping me out with the diction. Hope I did a fair enough job. 😅
