Kerala Shocker: Human Remains Found In Fridge Of 20-Year-Abandoned House

A human skull and bones were discovered inside a refrigerator at an abandoned house in Chottanikkara, Kerala, which had been locked for almost 20 years. The Chottanikkara police made the disturbing discovery during an inspection prompted by a local panchayat member's complaints about alleged anti-social activities at the property.

The remains were carefully packed in three plastic covers inside the unused fridge, with the bones organised by size, suggesting they had been there for several years.

The house, owned by a doctor practicing in Palarivattom, has been vacant for around 15 years. Police sources believe the remains may have been moved from another location, although a scientific examination is required to determine their age. Authorities have launched a thorough investigation to uncover the circumstances behind this eerie discovery.

Following complaints from locals about disturbances caused by anti-social elements at an abandoned house, police carried out an inspection at the request of a panchayat member. During the inspection, a human skull and a skeleton were found inside a refrigerator. The exact age of the remains has not yet been determined.

The bones, including the spine, were found intact, with the skull confirmed to be human. Preliminary investigations suggest the skull could be several years old. The Chottanikkara SHO and their team are leading a thorough investigation into the discovery, working to determine who placed the remains in the refrigerator.

The police have sealed the premises, and forensic experts will soon visit the site for further analysis. Authorities have also reached out to the doctor who owns the property for questioning.
