Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan distribute sweets on his Birthday

Thiruvananthapuram, May 24: Kerala Chief Minister-designate, Pinarayi Vijayan, on Tuesday, May 24 celebrated his birthday with the media by distributing sweets.

After 'ladoos' were distributed, a smiling Vijayan, unlike his usual serious demeanour, wanted to know from the fourth estate if they knew why he had distributed the sweets.

"I have kept it as a secret. Today is my birthday," he said, taking everyone by surprise. As per official records, the senior marxist leader said his birthday was on March 21, 1944.

But his correct birth date was May 24, 1945, he said, adding, he was not going to change the official records.
