Kejriwal Slams Amit Shah Over Delhi's Escalating Law and Order Crisis Amid Bomb Threats

The threats, which targeted high-profile schools such as Delhi Public School (DPS) RK Puram, DPS Vasant Kunj, GD Goenka, and Doon Public School, triggered a major security response, as reported by Times Of India. However, after thorough checks by the police, bomb disposal squads, and dog units, nothing suspicious was found at the schools.

In response to the growing security concern, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal strongly criticized the central government for its failure to ensure the safety of Delhi residents. Referring to the series of threatening incidents, including extortion and violence, Kejriwal lambasted the BJP-led central government's inability to maintain order. He posted on X (formerly Twitter), saying, "The people of Delhi have never seen such a deteriorating state of law and order before. Amit Shah ji must answer to the people of Delhi for this collapse in security."

Kejriwal Slams Amit Shah Over Delhi Bomb Threats

Kejriwal's remarks come as Delhi continues to grapple with escalating crime and security issues, ranging from ransom threats to daily incidents of violence. In light of this, he questioned Union Home Minister Amit Shah's leadership and accountability in addressing the alarming rise in threats across the city, as reported by Times Of India.

The bomb threats, which initially sparked widespread panic, highlight the urgent need for stronger security measures in the capital. The authorities had already been directed by the Delhi High Court to implement a comprehensive action plan for handling bomb threats, but incidents like these have raised doubts about the effectiveness of current procedures, as per media reports.

The BJP, on the other hand, has yet to respond to the criticism from the Delhi Chief Minister, as the situation continues to unfold.
