Hundreds of agitated people had blocked the national highway near outer Delhi's Singhu border by placing the deceased' body on the day he died.

The teenager was allegedly thrashed by the constable, Pramod Kumar (26) on October 21. "The constable has been placed under suspension and an inquiry into the matter has been initiated.

Further action shall be taken accordingly," DCP (Outer) Vikramjit Singh had said. "A preliminary medical report revealed that the teenager had extremely high blood sugar and he went into a diabetic coma, which is a life threatening complication," the official had added.
