Kashmir terror funding: ED questions separatist Shabir Shah’s wife for 7 hours

The Enforcement Directorate questioned Kashmir separatist, Shabir Shah's wife, Bilquis Shah in connection with the terror funding case. During the questioning that lasted over 7 hours, she was asked about her husband's properties and also financial dealinings.

The ED is probing a case of terror funding. The case was first registered by the Delhi police following the arrest of an alleged hawala dealer named Aslam Wani.

It was alleged that Wani had allegedly passed on Rs 2.25 crore to Shah. He was arrested in 20115. The ED has filed a chargesheet in this case. The ED said that they are in the process of filing a supplementary chargesheet and the questioning of Biliquis was in this regard. The ED had also called in Shah's nephew and questioned him for nearly 10 hours.
