Karni Sena Issues 48-Hour Ultimatum for Arrest of Suspects in Vishal Singh Murder Case
The Karni Sena has given the police a 48-hour ultimatum to arrest those involved in the murder of Vishal Singh. The 22-year-old was shot dead in Deoria district. Veeru Singh, the president of the Sena, visited Vishal's family in Hauli Ballia village. He discussed the case with the police, urging them to quickly apprehend the culprits.

Vishal Singh was a prominent figure in protests demanding justice for Nihal Singh, another murder victim. He was killed on Saturday night after an altercation. The series of murders, including that of Nihal Singh, has put Deoria's policing under national scrutiny. "The law and order situation in Deoria is now under scrutiny nationwide," Veeru Singh told reporters.
Investigation and Arrests
Four individuals have been charged in connection with Vishal's murder: Raza Khan, Faiz Raini, Rahul, and Vinod Jaiswal. According to Vishal's family, Jaiswal had a land dispute with them and allegedly conspired with the others to kill Vishal. Police reported that Vishal was called out of his home around 9 pm on Saturday.
He was later found critically injured on the Rudrapur-Karahkol road and was taken to a private hospital in Gorakhpur. Doctors confirmed he had been shot in the chest. Superintendent of Police Sankalp Sharma stated that the investigation is ongoing. "We are exploring all possible motives, including personal enmity, and are working based on evidence and the family's allegations," Sharma said.
Evidence Collection
The police have seized Vishal's mobile phone and are reviewing CCTV footage from the area. They have detained one suspect from Gorakhpur for questioning. The investigation aims to uncover all potential motives behind the murder.
The urgency expressed by the Karni Sena reflects growing concerns over safety and justice in Deoria. The community is closely watching how authorities handle this case amidst increasing pressure for accountability.
