Karnataka Swearing-In: Full List of 8 Cabinet Ministers To Be Sworn-In

Karnataka is all set to get a new government. While Siddaramaiah and D K Shivakumar will be sworn in as Chief Minister and deputy CM respectively, there would be eight others who will take oath as cabinet ministers.

The list o 8 cabinet ministers was released by K C Venugopal, Congress MP and general secretary of the party.

Meanwhile, Siddaramaiah and Shivakumar have been told by the high command that they could pick ten ministers each of their choice. In all the Congress would have 29-30 ministers. However, sources said that for now there would only be 8 cabinet ministers.

There would also not be another deputy CM and Shivakumar would be the only one. There have been demands by the Lingayat and Muslim communities to have a candidate of theirs' as deputy CM. However, the high command made it clear that the top billings would go to only Siddaramaiah and Shivakumar as of now.
