Karnataka Cabinet: Final list of ministers from Congress, JD(S)

Fifteen Congress MLAs (including an Independent MLA) and 10 JDS MLAs (including BSP MLA) were inducted into the cabinet on Wednesday. Senior leaders such as Ramalinga Reddy, HK Patil MB Patil, Roshan Baig, Eshwar Khandre and Satish Jarakiholi did not make the cut in the Congress-JDS alliance government.

As per the power-sharing arrangement, the Congress would have a total of 22 ministers while the JD-S will have 12, including the chief minister.

The new Cabinet has 10 Vokkaliga ministers (including CM HD Kumaraswamy) followed by four ministers from Lingayat community. The JDS did not give ministerial berth to Muslim leaders.
