Railing Collapse At Gujarat Hotel As 1000+ Job Seekers Turn Up For 10 Positions | Watch Video
Hundreds of job aspirants gathered at Lords Plaza Hotel in Ankleshwar for an interview hosted by an engineering company, causing a steel railing to collapse amid the crowded rush.

The Congress party criticised the BJP, citing the incident as evidence of escalating unemployment and the shortcomings of the Gujarat model. BJP MP Mansukh Vasava, however, faulted the company for inadequate management of the interview process.
Viral videos shows the crowded staircases and the subsequent railing collapse have sparked widespread concern. Fortunately, those who fell with the railing suffered no serious injuries due to the short distance to the ground.
Gujarat Home Minister Responds to Viral Video of Job Interview Incident
In response to the viral video from Ankleshwar showing a railing collapse as 1,800 job aspirants turned up for 10 positions, Gujarat Home Minister Harsh Sanghavi stated that the footage is being used to defame the state.
"The walk-in interview advertisement clearly states that experienced candidates are needed, implying they are already employed. Thus, claiming these individuals are unemployed is baseless," Sanghavi said.
Vasava emphasized the need for companies to clearly specify job criteria to avoid such chaos in the future, ensuring better management of job interviews and application processes.
