Jharkhand Polls: Home Minister Amit Shah To Unveil BJP's 'Sankalp Patra' In Ranchi On Sunday
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to unveil its manifesto, 'Sankalp Patra,' for the Jharkhand Assembly elections on November 3. Union Home Minister Amit Shah will present the manifesto at a gathering in Ranchi. This announcement was made by Shivraj Singh Chouhan, BJP's election in-charge for Jharkhand and Union Minister.
Chouhan revealed that Amit Shah would arrive in Ranchi on Saturday evening to confer with party leaders about their election strategy. Following the manifesto release, Shah plans to address rallies in Dhalbhumgarh, Barkatha, and Simaria, key locations across Jharkhand.

BJP's Five Key Promises
The BJP has outlined five major commitments for Jharkhand, known as 'Panch Pran.' The first promise involves financial aid for women through the 'Gogo Didi Yojana,' offering Rs 2,100 monthly. The second pledge ensures gas cylinders at Rs 500 per family, with two free cylinders annually.
Under the third vow, the BJP aims to create five lakh government jobs over five years for Jharkhand's youth. The fourth commitment offers graduate and post-graduate students Rs 2,000 monthly under the Yuva Sathi Yojana for competitive exam preparation.
The fifth promise focuses on providing permanent housing for every family in Jharkhand. These pledges are part of BJP's strategy to garner support ahead of the elections scheduled for November 13 and 20.
Upcoming Campaign Events
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Jharkhand on November 4 to continue the campaign momentum. He is expected to hold public meetings in Garhwa and Chaibasa. Chouhan expressed optimism that Modi's development message would resonate with Jharkhand's populace.
The elections will see 1,211 candidates competing for 81 seats in the state assembly. Vote counting is set for November 23. The BJP hopes its promises will appeal to voters and secure a favourable outcome in these elections.
