Jet Airways flight ignores instructions, misses collision with Air Force aircraft
New Delhi, Dec 3: A Jet airways passenger flight missed colliding with an Air Force jet, after the pilot ignored instructions by the control room and elevated to a level of 22,000 feet.
This comes after the Jet Airways flight, carrying 130 passengers was allowed to fly at 22,000 feet. However the pilot breached the separation between the two flights and climbed at 24,000 feet.

The incident occurred somewhere above Sarsawa air force station in Uttar Pradesh. An aviation official said a potential collision was averted when an ATC official noticed on the radar monitor the deviation in altitude of Jet Airways flight 9W 469 and warned the pilots to take evasive action.
The DGCA is examining the case.
