JDU MLA Saryu Roy Appeals to Amit Shah for Central Agency Involvement in Missing Son Case

JDU MLA Saryu Roy has called on Union Home Minister Amit Shah to engage central agencies in the search for Kairav Gandhi, a missing industrialist's son. The young man has been unaccounted for five days, prompting concerns of possible abduction.

A Janata Dal United MLA has called on Union Home Minister Amit Shah to involve central investigative agencies in locating Kairav Gandhi, a 24-year-old missing for five days. Kairav, the son of an industrialist from Jamshedpur, was allegedly abducted on Tuesday afternoon. The state government has yet to make any progress in the case.

The JDU legislator, Saryu Roy, highlighted the urgency of the situation through a social media post directed at Amit Shah. Roy emphasised that this case is not just about abduction or ransom but concerns the life of a young man. He suspects an interstate gang might be involved in the incident.

Central Agencies and Local Coordination

Roy suggested that involving central agencies like the Intelligence Bureau could provide new leads and bolster the investigation. A Special Investigation Team has already been formed to ensure Kairav's safe return. The team is making every effort to trace him.

Police discovered Kairav’s car in the Kanderbeda area on National Highway-33, under Chandil police station in Seraikela-Kharswan district. This discovery occurred just hours after he was reported missing. The vehicle's recovery has been a crucial part of the ongoing investigation.

Community and Official Involvement

Saryu Roy has also discussed the matter with Jharkhand Director General of Police Tadarsha Mishra and East Singhbhum's Senior Superintendent of Police. He urged them to intensify their efforts in finding Kairav. The involvement of high-ranking officials underscores the seriousness of this case.

The Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry convened a meeting on Sunday to deliberate on future actions concerning this incident. The business community's engagement reflects widespread concern over Kairav's disappearance and its implications.

The case continues to unfold as authorities work tirelessly to gather information and explore all possible avenues. The collaboration between local law enforcement and potential central agency involvement aims to expedite Kairav's safe return.
