Jayalalithaa's mates in jail -- corrupt leader, scam star, psycho serial rapist-killer
Bangalore, Sept 28: Following the historical verdict by a special court in Bangalore, the AIADMK supremo Jayalalithaa has been lodged in Bangalore central jail Parappana Agrahara on Saturday, Sept 28.
The Tamil Nadu CM, aide Sasikala Natarajan, her son V N Sudhakaran and her niece Ilavarasi were also sentenced for four years. Jayalalithaa has been imposed a fine of Rs 100 crore.
All four have been convictedof accumulating Rs 66 crore wealth disproportionate to known sources of her income from 1991-96 in Jayalalithaa's first term as Chief Minister.

Gali Janardhana Reddy, a former BJP minister
Gali Janardhana Reddy, a former BJP minister, was arrested in connection with illegal mining case in Bellary, Karnataka.
After his arrest in 2011, he was initially taken to Hyderabad. However, later he was shifted to Bangalore. Currently, he has been lodged in Bangalore central jail Parappana Agrahara.

Abdul Karim Telgi, a scam star
Abdul Karim Telgi is a convicted Indian counterfeiter. He earned money by printing counterfeit stamp paper in India. He cited Sharad Pawar, then the chief of NCP party , name in relation to a INR600 billion (US$9.8 billion) stamp-paper scam.
During a narcoanalysis filmed by various Indian news channels, wherein he also mentioned NCP leader, and former Deputy Chief Minister of Maharastra Chhagan Bhujbal.

Psycho Jayashankar, serial rapist-killer
He is serial rapist and murderer. 36-year-old Jayashankar, who hails from Tamil Nadu, is facing over two dozen cases of rape, rape-cum-murder and dacoity in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh.

Abdul Nazer Mahdani, accused of Bangalore blast
Madani is a Muslim political leader who hails from Kerala. Mahdani is lodged in Karnataka jail and is in judicial custody for his alleged involvement in the 2008 Bangalore serial blasts and similar incidents in Ahmedabad, Surat and Jaipur.
Two persons were killed and 20 injured when the blasts rocked the cyber city at nine locations in 2008.
