Jayalalithaa arrives in capital to meet PM Modi
New Delhi, June 13: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa arrived here on Tuesday,June 14 on her first visit after her election victory during which she is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
She was given a guard of honour by the Tamil Nadu Special Police contingent at the Tamil Nadu house.
The chief minister is meeting Modi when she is likely to pitch for central assistance to development projects in the state.
She is also likely to meet union ministers Nirmala Sitaraman and Pon Radhakrishnan and discuss central schemes with them.
