Janmastami: Differently-Abled Muslim Boy Dressed Up As Lord Krishna Is Winning Hearts
Kerala is known for religious harmony and here is one more example that showcases that people from different communities are living in harmony in God's Own Country.
Well, a photo of a differently-abled kid from the Muslim religion in Lord Krishna's avatar has gone viral. During the Sree Krishna Jayanti festivities in Kerala, numerous young children donned enchanting attire resembling little Krishna and Gopikas for the Sobha Yatras.

Among the hundreds of participating children in the Sobha Yatra organized by the district unit of Balagokulam, the presence of 8-year-old Muhammed Yahiyan, dressed as Lord Krishna, caught the attention of netizens.
According to an Asianet report, Yahiyan claimed that he wished to dress up like Lord Krishna and his mother supported him. In fact, she accompanied him, wearing purdah. Yahiyan, adorned in yellow silk, a majestic golden crown, and a peacock feather, enthusiastically participated in the Sobha Yatra.
"Although it rained a lot, I didn't mind because I wanted to dress for myself like Krishna," the website quoted him as saying.
"My mum dressed me up this way," Yahiyan, who needs a wheelchair to move about due to physical disabilities, said.
The boy's mother told the reporters that she was just trying to fulfil his wish. "We didn't do this for popularity; we did it for his happiness. We are participating in the procession for the first time," she added.
Yahiyan aspires to become a scientist, Currently, he is receiving medical treatment for his muscles, and the medical professionals have provided assurances that he will regain his ability to walk in the near future. Yahiyan is presently a third-grade student at Bilathikulam BEM Upper Primary School.
