UPSC CSE 2025 results: Jammu and Kashmir marks 16 qualifiers; Manoj Sinha and Omar Abdullah congratulate

Jammu and Kashmir has recorded 16 successful candidates in the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2025, matching the region’s highest-ever tally. Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said the result brings pride to the Union Territory and will inspire young aspirants. Jammu and Kashmir recorded 16 successful candidates in the UPSC civil services examination 2025. The Union Public Service Commission announced the results on Friday. The count matched the region’s joint highest ever. Leaders in the Union Territory said the outcome reflected strong effort by local aspirants.

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha congratulated the selected candidates in a post on X. Sinha said the results brought recognition to the Union Territory. "Congratulations to all aspirants from J-K who have successfully cleared UPSC CSE-2025. Your success has brought pride to the UT and will inspire young aspirants across J-K to pursue their dreams,\" Sinha said.

Chief Minister Omar Abdullah also sent congratulations to those who cleared the UPSC civil services examination 2025. Omar Abdullah called it a moment of great pride for Jammu and Kashmir. Omar Abdullah credited hard work, perseverance and dedication. Omar Abdullah said the results showed the determination and potential of the region’s youth.

Omar Abdullah said the successful candidates could motivate more students in Jammu and Kashmir. Omar Abdullah said the achievement could encourage students to set higher goals. Omar Abdullah urged students to pursue ambitions with commitment and sincerity. Omar Abdullah also wished the candidates a bright, fulfilling and distinguished career in public service.

UPSC civil services examination 2025: Jammu and Kashmir candidates and ranks

Suvan Sharma led the Jammu and Kashmir list with All India Rank 148. Towseef Ahmad Ganie secured AIR 254, while Ritika Bhan got 456. Sooyash Shivam ranked 572 and Muneeb Parrah ranked 581. Ghulam Din achieved AIR 683, followed by Dwarka Gaadhi at 721 and Akash at 747.

Further down the list, Koh-e-Safa secured AIR 763 and Yasaar received 811. Abhishek ranked 820 and Pankaj ranked 856. Mohd Ajaz secured 869, while Azhar achieved 886. Sarfraz got AIR 936. Irfan Ahmad Lone, a differently abled candidate, secured AIR 957.

Both Manoj Sinha and Omar Abdullah said the UPSC civil services examination 2025 results should encourage more aspirants. Sinha also wished the qualifiers a bright and fulfilling public service career. Omar Abdullah expressed hope that the selected candidates would contribute to the nation’s development and governance through their future roles.
