J&K: Eid Milad-un-Nabi arrangements reviewed in Shopian

Shopian, Dec 27: In order to make necessary arrangements in connection with celebration of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) at Assar Sharief Hazratbal Pinjoora, Shopian, the Deputy Commissioner, convened a meeting of the officers connected with essential commodities in his office chambers here on Saturday.

The Deputy Commissioner was joined by other officers to ensure necessary security arrangements were made.

They even checked road improvements, potable water facilities, medical facilities, uninterrupted power supply, availability of rice, sugar, flour, oil, LPG, regulation of traffic, cleanliness in and around the Ziyarat Sharief and providing of firewood for warming the Hamam.

The officers assured the Deputy Commissioner that the requisite arrangements will be made in order to facilitate the devotees. Consequently a team of the officers was deputed on spot to take stock of the necessary arrangements.
