BJP national spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla also expressed his displeasure, stating that he would refuse to participate in any news channel debate if Shoaib Jamai were present. Poonawalla cited Jamai's alleged disregard for civility and decency as the reason behind his decision, adding that while he couldn't control which TV channels invite Jamai, he would not share a panel with him.

One of the clips that circulated online showed Shoaib Jamai engaged in a physical altercation with fellow panelist Subuhi Khan, resulting in Jamai being asked to leave the show.

The television discussion revolved around the upcoming movie '72 Hoorain,' directed by Sanjay Puran Singh, scheduled for release in theaters on July 7.

Shoaib Jamai took to micro-blogging platform Twitter to recount the incident, describing it as unfortunate. He claimed to have been subjected to verbal abuse by the co-panelist but expressed his desire not to blow the matter out of proportion.

Shoaib Jamai, who serves as the chairman of the India Muslim Foundation, has faced criticism for his alleged incendiary statements in the past. In one instance, he mentioned that India would transform into Akhand Bharat when 25 crore Muslims from Bangladesh, 25 crore from Pakistan, and 25 crore from India unite. Jamai clarified that his intention was not to make any hate speech against Hindus.
