In a momentous development, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy reached a significant milestone by distributing a staggering sum of Rs 325.02 crore in direct aid to the bank accounts of 3,25,020 eligible beneficiaries including Rajakas, Nayee Brahmins, and Tailors under the 'Jagananna Chedodu' scheme. This groundbreaking event took place at Yemmiganur in Kurnool district today.

The YSRCP government, under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the welfare of its citizens. In total, the government has provided substantial financial assistance of Rs 1,252.51 crore to Chedodu beneficiaries, a figure that includes the latest aid injection of Rs 325.02 crore.

Addressing the vast and enthusiastic gathering at Yemmiganur, CM Jagan emphatically said, "With unwavering determination, we've made strides toward progress every single day, extending a life-changing sum of Rs 40,000 per individual to our eligible beneficiaries. Over the past four years, through the 'Jagananna Chedodu' scheme, we've instilled faith and empowerment in the hearts of Rajakas, Nayee Brahmins, and Tailors who are business owners. I implore you to witness the undeniable transformation we bring, driven by our unwavering commitment to transparency, devoid of corruption or bias."

This fresh fourth tranche of the 'Jagananna Chedodu' scheme has disbursed financial assistance as follows: Rs 180.66 crore has been allocated to 1,80,656 tailors, Rs 104.55 crore to 1,04,551 Rajakas, and Rs 39.81 crore to 39,813 Nayee Brahmins. Under this visionary program, eligible beneficiaries who own shops are entitled to receive Rs 10,000 annually. Notably, each beneficiary has received Rs 40,000 under the scheme over the course of the past four years, emphasizing the government's continued support.

Underlining the commitment to delivering on the promises made, CM Jagan emphasized, "In line with the pledges outlined in our manifesto, we have successfully fulfilled 99 percent of our promises well before the conclusion of our term. It begs the question - why were there no transformative, life-altering initiatives undertaken within the same state and under the same budget constraints during the previous administration? Our resolute dedication to progress and positive change has reshaped our state's future."

What sets the 'Jagananna Chedodu' scheme apart is its commitment to transparency and inclusivity. The selection of eligible beneficiaries is carried out in a transparent and non-discriminatory manner. The lists of Jagananna Chedodu beneficiaries are made public at village and ward secretariats for social audit, ensuring that every eligible person benefits from this program in a saturation mode, leaving no one behind.

Unleashing a scathing attack against the previous TDP government for their plundering of public funds for personal gain, the Chief Minister stated, "From the questionable dealings of Janmabhoomi committees to the recent skill development scandal, Chandrababu's administration was marred by numerous instances of corruption. The infamous 'DPT gang' (Dochuko Panchuko Tinuko) shamelessly siphoned off public resources, indulging in egregious acts of self-enrichment. Contrasting this with our model of governance, the disparity is glaring. We are resolutely committed to transparently channeling funds directly into the accounts of our citizens, free from any taint of corruption or bias, no matter the cost."

CM Jagan further urged the people of Andhra Pradesh to turn up to the 'Jagananna Aarogya Suraksha' camps that are being held across the state. He said, "Our dedicated medical staff are meticulously sifting through every household with the Aarogya Suraksha initiative, ensuring that quality healthcare is brought right to your doorstep. We've witnessed administrations that traded the future of underprivileged students to institutions like Narayana, but we've ushered in a transformative era in education through sweeping policy reforms under Nadu-Nedu. We're resolute in our mission to provide equitable access to healthcare and education for all."
