Jammu and Kashmir Administration Ready to Transport Students Returning from Iran with Deluxe Buses
The Jammu and Kashmir administration is ready to assist students returning from Iran, ensuring they reach their homes safely. A fleet of deluxe buses has been arranged to transport them from their arrival points, according to an official statement on Friday.

Minister Satish Sharma has been given the responsibility of managing the entire transit process. He holds the position of Minister for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, and Transport. His role includes overseeing the logistics involved in this operation.
Transport Arrangements for Returning Students
The first group of students arriving from Iran will travel in super deluxe buses provided by the Jammu and Kashmir administration. These buses are stationed at arrival points in Jammu and Srinagar to ensure a smooth transition for the returnees.
The Jammu and Kashmir Road Transport Corporation (JKRTC) has deployed its super deluxe buses at these locations. This ensures that students are received promptly upon their arrival in India.
Coordination with Various Authorities
The government is working closely with the Resident Commission Office in Delhi, airport authorities, and local administration. This coordination aims to facilitate the smooth transit of students returning from Iran.
Minister Sharma expressed his commitment to supporting these students, stating, "These students are our pride and future. It's our moral duty to ensure they feel welcomed, cared for, and supported." He emphasised that adequate transport facilities are being arranged following Chief Minister Omar Abdullah's directions.
Sharma also mentioned that he has instructed the RTC to remain on standby. This ensures any additional logistical support required by returning residents and students can be provided promptly.
The efforts made by the Jammu and Kashmir government highlight their dedication to ensuring a safe return for students coming back from Iran. The administration's proactive measures reflect their commitment to supporting these young individuals during their journey home.
