ISRO Shares Photos Of Vikram Lander Taken by Chandrayaan-2, Then Deletes Them
The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO)on Friday took to X (previously known as Twitter) to reveal pictures of the Chandrayaan-3 Lander, captured by the Chandrayaan-2 orbiter.
ISRO highlighted that the Orbiter High-Resolution Camera (OHRC) of Chandrayaan-2 possesses the most exceptional resolution capabilities in a post on X.

However, the space agency promptly removed the post from its X account shortly after.
In a significant stride for its space program, India's lunar mission, Chandrayaan-3, successfully landed on the southern pole of the Moon at 6:04 pm on Wednesday, propelling India into an exclusive group of four nations and making it the first country to achieve a landing on the unexplored southern pole of the Moon.
On Thursday, G Madhavan Nair, the former chief of ISRO, shared from Thiruvananthapuram that Chandrayaan-3's achievement will enhance India's global commercial agreements due to the recognition of its technical expertise and launch systems.

Nair stated that the triumph of Chandrayaan-3 marks the initial stride in commencing India's planetary exploration efforts. He told PTI, "We have genuinely shattered barriers and initiated on a strong note."
According to ISRO, the total cost of Chandrayaan-3 is approximately Rs 615 crore, a sum nearly equivalent to the production budget of a Hindi cinema.
