Israeli citizen arrested along Indo-Nepal border in UP

Maharajganj, Feb 24: An Israeli citizen was arrested along the Indo-Nepal border area here for allegedly trying to cross over to India without a passport, a senior official said today.

The official said police stopped Ran Rosenzweie during a routine check last evening when he was roaming in Sonouli bus stand area. He was on his way to India from Kathmandu.

Rosenzweie was arrested by Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) in Sonauli area as he was without a passport, SSB Commandant KS Bankhoti said. A case has been registered and intelligence agencies have been informed, he said.
