ANI quoted Officer in-charge of Golabari Police Station as saying that the children were taken to a relative's house in Bardhaman.

Earlier today, Jahan had approached Golabari Police Station in Howrah to register a complaint that her two children were missing. She had reportedly accused her husband of kidnapping two of her four children.

Two days after the Supreme Court's landmark judgment in triple talaq case, Jahan had asked West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for protection, saying that she had faced condemnation and attacks from the members of her community, especially her husband's family.

Her family members and neighbours were reportedly furious at her for fighting the case in court

Ishrat Jahan was divorced by her husband from Dubai and abruptly ended their marriage of 15 years by simply saying "talaq" three times.
