Bengaluru, Feb 9: In a fresh update over IS suspect Najmul Huda, the family now claims that Huda almost a week back held a very brief telephonic conversation with the family which lasted not more than three minutes.
The family, which in the earlier conversation with OneIndia expressed disappointment over NIA (National Investigation Agency) for disallowing the family to hold talks with Najmul. However the family, even as came into touch with alleged IS sympathiser over phone, is making full frontal effort to meet him in person with the help of a lawyer which they have hired after the arrest.
It could be recalled that Najmul was arrested from his father Saiful Huda's house last month by the NIA and Delhi police special cell. The joint operation to nab Huda was conducted in the dark hours.
The information available at this juncture is, probe by the NIA has not been completed and charge sheet has not been filed against Huda.
The family said "a week before we received a call from the investigative agency. Huda was later put on conversation." When asked the family on time span of conversation and excerpts of the talks, the family said "we spoke to him not more than 3 minutes, we were unable to speak much on the current condition of Huda."
The Huda and family spoke for over two minutes in which Huda mainly inquired about the health of his mother. The family did not divulge complete conversation details with OneIndia.
Huda's sister further informed that the family has hired a lawyer. "Through lawyer we are making all out effort to reach Huda, at least to see his face and to know about his health." The family is now hopeful of meeting Huda by exercising legal rights.
