According to the iPhone Index, a Swiss resident can afford the iPhone 16 after working just four days. In comparison, an average American needs about 5.1 days, while Australians and Singaporeans require approximately 5.7 days of work.

In India, purchasing the new iPhone 16 requires working for around 47.6 days. The iPhone Index is an annual assessment of the price-to-wage ratio for the iPhone 16 Pro (128 GB). This index has been compiled since 2018.

The starting price for the iPhone 16 in India is Rs 79,900. The iPhone 16 Plus is priced at Rs 89,900, while the iPhone 16 Pro costs Rs 119,900. The top-tier model, the iPhone 16 Pro Max, is available for Rs 144,900.
