iPhone 17 India Pricing and Pre-Order Date Revealed Ahead of Launch

Apple is gearing up to unveil the iPhone 17 series at its event on September 9. This year, the lineup will include the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. A new addition, the iPhone 17 Air, will replace the Plus variant. While significant upgrades are expected across models, a price increase might not affect all of them.

iPhone 17 Series Pricing Expectations

According to a JPMorgan report, Apple may maintain current prices for most iPhone 17 models. However, the iPhone 17 Pro could see a price rise due to increased base storage. The starting price for the series in India is anticipated to be Rs. 79,990.

The base model of the iPhone 17 is expected to launch without a price hike. It may start at $799 or Rs. 79,990 for the 128GB version. Meanwhile, the new ultra-thin iPhone 17 Air might cost around $899 or Rs. 89,990, similar to its predecessor.

Potential Price Changes for Pro Models

The iPhone 17 Pro could experience a $100 increase in its base variant price. It might start at $1,099 for a 256GB model in international markets and approximately Rs. 1,25,000 in India. As for the flagship model, no changes are expected in its pricing.

The top-tier iPhone 17 Pro Max is likely to maintain its current pricing structure. It may start at $1,199 or Rs. 1,44,990 for the same storage capacity as before.

Launch and Pre-Order Details

Apple will officially announce the pricing and availability of the iPhone 17 series in just six days. Pre-orders are set to begin on September 12. Additionally, users can expect the rollout of iOS 26 starting September 15.
