The Aam Admi Party is going through one its worst crisis with several members questioning the functioning of the party. Leading the pack are Prashanth Bhushan and Yogendra Yadav.

What has brought about this big fight which has been making headlines and will the party be able to tide over this crisis? National Spokesperson for the Aam Admi Party, Prithvi Reddy says that there is basic mistrust between some members as they hail from different backgrounds.

No conspiracy against Kejriwal: AAP

In this interview with OneIndia, Reddy says that they will look at the positives and hope that the party will come out stroner.

What has brought about this sudden outburst by some of the members?

We are a group of people who have come together to fight against corruption and to make democracy stronger in the true sense.

People have come from different backgrounds and have their own thought processes. Due to this there is bound to be suspicion and mistrust which according to me can easily be addressed.

Were the differences within the party been hidden all these days?

That is not the case. When we fought the elections, everyone was together. At that time each one is busy working towards a common goal and that is winning the elections.

None have time to talk to each other at that time. It is only once the process is completed that you realize that there are differences. It is only natural and I strongly believe that the problem will be solved.

Is there is a conspiracy to unseat Arvind Kejriwal?

No, according to me there is none. As I said there are differences which need to be ironed out.

Will there be action against Prashanth Bhushan and Yogendra Yadav?

There are problems in every party. It is just that in AAP people come out in the open and speak about it. We do not believe in stifling people if they speak out against the party.

I think some people in the party are not acting in a responsible manner. These issues could have been discussed and solved instead of going everyday on a public platform. A lot of our supporters have expressed concern.

The AAP leadership has been accused of being dictatorial

I do not think that is the case. There is a mechanism in which people in the party are allowed to express themselves. However I would also add that while people must express their opinion, they however should ensure that it does not affect the party.

We will address all the concerns that have been raised and come out stronger. We will look at this as an opportunity and learn from it.
