Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Calls for Integrated Complexes for Administrative Offices

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath emphasised the need for integrated office complexes at district and divisional headquarters. These complexes aim to streamline public access to government services. The UP government highlighted this initiative in a recent statement. Adityanath noted that such complexes are already underway in Gorakhpur and Varanasi, urging similar developments across all districts.

UP CM Advocates Integrated Administrative Complexes

During a review of construction projects under the Revenue Department, Adityanath stressed high-quality standards. He identified a shortage of expert engineers in the Public Works Department (PWD) and other agencies. To address this, he suggested hiring retired professionals from renowned technical institutions. "Whether it is budget or manpower, there will be no shortage," he assured.

Integrated Complexes and Quality Assurance

The Chief Minister instructed that new collectorate offices in Bulandshahr and Sambhal should be developed as integrated complexes. He stated, "This will ensure that all major officers are located within the same complex, saving the common man from unnecessary hassle." This approach aims to centralise administrative functions for greater efficiency.

Adityanath set a two-month deadline for completing non-residential buildings for the Shamli district Collectorate. He warned that any delays beyond this period would lead to action against responsible officials. This strict timeline underscores the government's commitment to timely project completion.

Monitoring and Verification

To ensure progress, Adityanath directed implementing agencies to conduct weekly project reviews. Additionally, secretary-level officers are to carry out fortnightly evaluations. This structured oversight is intended to maintain momentum and accountability in ongoing projects.

The Chief Minister also called for physical verification of residential buildings in newly established tehsils. These include Baldirai in Sultanpur, Govardhan in Mathura, and Nighasan, Gola Gokarnath, and Dhaurahra in Lakhimpur. Verification will occur after construction completion to ensure compliance with standards.

Adityanath's focus on integrated complexes reflects a broader strategy to enhance administrative efficiency across Uttar Pradesh. By centralising offices and ensuring quality construction, the government aims to improve service delivery to the public while maintaining rigorous oversight of development projects.
